The Uptown on August 16th

Friday, August 16th at The Uptown in Oakland, The Famous will join The Rogers and Juanita & The Rabbit for what will be our first show ever at the downtown Oakland venue.

The Uptown hosts great live shows, and previously in Oakland we’ve played at The New Parish and The Stork Club, so we’re really looking forward to hitting the stage at The Uptown.

The rhythm section will be full on Diesel Boy as Geoff Arcuri rejoins G.D. and The Famous for this show, helping fill-in for Chris. Check out Geoff’s 7877 Custom Drums.

Much is going on these days as we finish the album with only two more songs to be recorded in the month of August, before mixing is set to begin in September.

Any good album names you’d like to offer up for what will be our 3rd release?
