It’s time for a break and some Uinta Anniversary Barley Wine as we’ve pulled off the road during Day 13 of ’50 Miles in 50 Days.’
The history of modern day barley wines goes back over a century ago to brewing in England.
This version from Uinta is balanced by a nice amount of hops and ages quite well if you have the patience to wait a year or so for the next anniversary.
You will not be disappointed with just a single bottle if you do, as these strong ales have an alcohol content similar to that of most wines.
Next up it’s back on the road heading to Kettleman City.
