Pyramid Lake is a relatively new creation on the drive out of L.A., created in 1972 and named after the pyramid rock formation carved out by the engineers who created the roadway we now know as the Grapevine.
Bass fishing at some of its best in Southern California is a big part of the recreation at Pyramid Lake.
