Quadruple Platinum

News from 25 years ago to this very day, January 9, 1990, brings us to Day 9 of ’50 Miles in 50 Days.’

Willie Nelson’s 1978 release ‘Stardust’ was certified as quadruple platinum, with album sales in excess of four million units.

It’s now reached over 5 million copies sold. Perhaps too few still, given the two No. 1 hits “Georgia On My Mind” and “Blue Skies.”

One of our true inspirations, Willie Nelson’s legacy goes well beyond record sales.
