No Street Lights?

“Kettleman City never looked so pretty with the lights twinkling off to the right…” a line in our new song “50 Miles to Firebaugh,” brings up an interesting public planning and transportation engineering issue off the I-5.

Even with all of the lights shining outside the many places to make a pit stop in Kettleman City, you have to look hard to find a single street light.

We probably won’t do a U2 parody cover “Where the Streets Have No Lights” to further honor Kettleman City in song, but it’s worth noting the possibilities.
