Hank and Buck

“I hope they play this song on Kings Radio, but they probably won’t because it’s new… So Hank and Buck blasting through my truck is just going to have to do,” proclaims ’50 Miles to Firebaugh,’ our I-5 trucker song being chronicled during these ’50 Miles in 50 Days.’

A long way off the I-5 is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio which has an excellent display featuring Hank Williams, Sr.

We have played songs by both legends, Williams and Buck Owens, at our live shows over the years. Hearing them on Kings Radio while driving on the I-5 is always a thrill.

If you get a chance to visit the Rock Hall, make a beeline to the Country, Folk and Bluegrass exhibit. You’ll certainly be glad you did.
